Job Title: Tax Engineer

Experience Required: 6+ Years

Job Description-

Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, Engineering, and other business partners to implement tax software and automate processes.

Define and document business and functional requirements for tax technology solutions.

Lead the coordination and implementation of the Tax Department’s technology needs and initiatives.

Develop and maintain data strategy and technology roadmaps for tax operations.

Configure and customize tax technologies using tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, Snowflake, Pyramid, and Python.

Manage relationships with multiple external vendors supporting tax processes and systems.

Continuously monitor emerging trends in tax technology, ensuring strategy alignment with current best practices and innovations.

Support and manage projects related to tax technology from initiation to post-implementation review.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in Tax Engineering or Tax Technology.

Strong project management experience, with a proven track record of leading multiple concurrent projects.

Comprehensive knowledge of US and/or UK tax regulations and compliance.

Hands-on experience with one or more of the following technologies:

Snowflake

Alteryx

Pyramid

Power BI

Python

Salesforce

RPA Tools

Thomson Reuters OneSource

Microsoft Office Suite

Strong configuration and development skills with the ability to translate tax requirements into technical solutions.

Proven experience in full lifecycle implementation of tax technology solutions.

Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across departments and with external vendors.
