Job Role:

We are seeking a Sr Developer with minimum 6+ years of expert level experience with Magento & PHP to enhance and improve our existing ecommerce solutions.

The ideal candidate is expected to have architecture experience along with hands-on Team handling experience.

The candidate must be able to work both independently and as a lead to help mentor / train other application developers so that over time they improve their knowledge with the Magento platform.

Candidates must have a passion for technology and a flexible, creative approach to problem solving and have the ability to take technical ownership with respect to development changes.

Write clean, well-engineered code that comply with accepted standards, and test web applications.

Should have excellent database design and implementation skills. Magento certification will be a major advantage.

Familiarity with the SDLC and Scrum Methodologies. 

Understand the goals and strategy behind each project from conception through completion.

Required Skills:

Must posses fair, clear understanding of fundamentals and concepts of Magento 1/2, PHP, Zend Framework, Magento commerce Knowledge in Magento Extension development.

Write well-engineered source code that complies with accepted web standards.

Good experience in Magento 2 Store development - design implementation, creating themes, create custom modules;

Strong Knowledge of Magento Best Practices, including experience developing custom extensions and extending third party extensions

Ability to develop and manage e-commerce websites, web applications, and websites.

Can understand the goals and create strategies for each project.

Technical Skills:

Possess good exposure on Magento, CMS, CodeIgnitor, OpenCart, JavaScript/ jQuery.

Extensive experience of PHP and MySQL Focused on Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Demonstrable knowledge of XML, XHTML, CSS, Modules i.e. API integration, Payment Gateways, XML with a focus on standards
