We are looking for a highly skilled Senior EDI/EDIFECS Integration Specialist with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience managing EDIFECS installation and EDI transaction flows. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of EDI X12 transaction sets, strong Java/JavaScript experience, and the ability to mentor teams and work collaboratively with both clients and technical stakeholders.
Roles and Responsibilities:Manage end-to-end EDIFECS platform installation, configuration, and optimization.
Design and implement EDI process flows using EDIFECS tools.
Develop and maintain business rules and transformation logic in EDIFECS.
Collaborate with client architects and project managers to define solution architecture and implementation strategies.
Mentor and train internal teams on EDIFECS product functionalities and best practices.
Interface with clients to gather requirements, provide technical consultation, and deliver high-quality integration solutions.
Support and maintain all X12 EDI transaction sets including but not limited to: 835, 834, 837, 278, 277, 275, 997, and 999.
Work in an Agile development environment using Git for version control and collaborative development.
Provide strong written and verbal communication including technical documentation, status reporting, and presentations.
Must-Have Skills:Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience with EDIFECS suite (installation, configuration, development).
Proficiency in Java and JavaScript.
Strong expertise in EDI X12 transaction sets (835, 834, 837, 278, 277, 275, 997, 999).
Experience developing and managing EDI process flows and business rules.
Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and version control systems like Git.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Experience working with healthcare payers.
Good-to-Have Skills:Exposure to other EDI tools or middleware platforms.
Experience with EDIFECS modules like SpecBuilder, XEngine Server, and Route Engine.
Prior experience in a client-facing technical consulting role.
Familiarity with API integration and REST/SOAP-based services.
Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and healthcare domain standards.
