Position Title:

Business Analyst – Project Manager (BAPM)

Experience: 3–5 years of Business Analyst experience.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Documentation: Strong organization and documentation abilities.

Adaptability: Flexible and open to change (e.g., shifting plans, priorities, or requirements).

Methodologies: Solid understanding of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.

Industry Knowledge:

Strong knowledge of the financial industry, preferably within Sales & Trading or Investment Banking.

Familiarity with trade market abuse scenarios.

Product Knowledge:

Deep understanding of financial products, trade lifecycle, and asset classes.

Strong grasp of trade data, position data, and reference data.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in SQL and data analytics.

Experience in medium to large-scale development projects.

Risk Management: Strong risk assessment and issue resolution skills.

Tools Knowledge (Preferred):

Exposure to Actimize and regulatory reporting tools.

Project Management: Experience managing projects and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

Support the development and management of trade surveillance scenarios across various financial products and jurisdictions using advanced technology.

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements; develop agile stories, conduct impact analysis, and manage issue resolution.

Collaborate with stakeholders during the requirement socialization and approval process.

Lead and participate in requirement elaboration sessions to define and refine functional needs.

Partner with product owners to ensure alignment and execution of platform strategies.

Work alongside UX teams to create solutions that align with business objectives.

Conduct reviews of functional and data requirements.

Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT):

Review test plans, scripts, and data.

Analyze test results, participate in defect triage meetings.

Provide clarifications, report issues, and support resolution.

Approve and sign off on changes as needed.

Assist in release events and conduct regression testing.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Finance
(e.g., BE, ME, MS, MSc, or MBA in Finance)
