Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in ITSM and CMDB to design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing ServiceNow solutions that improve IT service delivery and ensure accurate configuration management across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, and customize ServiceNow modules with a focus on ITSM and CMDB. Develop scripts, workflows, business rules, and UI policies to support business processes. Ensure proper integration of CMDB with other ITSM processes and external systems. Maintain data accuracy, relationships, and dependencies within the CMDB. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Perform unit testing, system testing, and support user acceptance testing. Provide support for ServiceNow upgrades and enhancements. Troubleshoot issues, resolve defects, and ensure system stability.

Mandatory Skills

Strong hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer. Expertise in ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Request Management, etc.). In-depth knowledge and experience in CMDB (Configuration Management Database). Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, workflows, and client/server-side scripting. Good understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

Experience with ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping. Knowledge of Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs. ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS – ITSM, or equivalent). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
