Job Title: ServiceNow Senior Developer (CMDB)

We are seeking a ServiceNow Senior Developer with specialized expertise in Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Discovery to support, maintain, and optimize our configuration management and asset discovery processes.

This role involves developing and enhancing CMDB-related features, integrating ServiceNow with external systems, and providing cross-module support to ensure a cohesive and efficient platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• CMDB Development: Lead the design, implementation, and customization of CMDB processes, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and alignment with IT and business needs.

• Discovery Management: Configure and maintain the ServiceNow Discovery module, facilitating accurate and automated asset identification and mapping across the organization.

• Integrations: Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and external systems to ensure seamless data flow and synchronization within the CMDB and other modules.

• Cross-Module Support: Provide development and support across various ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM), ensuring platform efficiency and interoperability.

• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to CMDB and Discovery processes, driving continuous improvement and optimization.

• Technical Documentation & Standards: Maintain documentation for configurations, customizations, and integrations, adhering to best practices and organizational standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 4+ years of experience in ServiceNow development with specific expertise in CMDB, Discovery, and integrations.

• Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified CMDB Developer are required.

• Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of CMDB architecture, Discovery configuration, Service Mapping, and best practices for configuration management.

• Scripting & API Integrations: Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting, REST/SOAP APIs, and creating custom integrations to support data flow within the CMDB.

• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot complex issues and improve the efficiency of CMDB and Discovery processes.

• Communication Skills: Excellent collaboration skills for working with IT and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment and effective solution delivery. Preferred Skills:

• Experience with ServiceNow IT Service Management Professional (ITSM Pro), Security Operations, Vendor Risk Management (VRM), Finance Services Operations (FSO), Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Discovery.

• Experience with ITOM and other relevant ServiceNow modules.

• Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and CMDB best practices.

• Knowledge of network infrastructure, asset lifecycle management, and dependency mapping.
