IBM Integration Specialist – (IBM API Connect, ACE and MQ)

Experience: 5+ Years and above

The IBM API Connect Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, managing, and supporting API solutions using IBM API Connect, IBM DataPower Gateway, IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), IBM MQ, and OpenShift/Kubernetes. This role involves troubleshooting API-related issues, optimizing performance, integrating with messaging systems, and ensuring security best practices while collaborating with development, DevOps, and support teams.

·       IBM API Connect – Hands-on experience with API Gateway, policies, and security. ·       IBM DataPower Gateway – Experience managing and troubleshooting API security and transformations. ·       IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) – Expertise in developing integration flows and service orchestration. ·       IBM MQ – Knowledge of messaging patterns, queues, and asynchronous processing. ·       OpenShift & Kubernetes – Experience deploying and managing API & middleware solutions in containerized environments. ·       REST, SOAP, XML, JSON – Strong understanding of API and web service protocols. ·       OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, TLS – Experience with API security best practices. ·       CI/CD & DevOps Tools – Familiarity with Jenkins, Git, Helm, Ansible, or similar tools. ·       Troubleshooting & Performance Optimization – Experience analyzing logs, debugging issues, and improving API/MQ/ACE performance.
