Who we’re looking for: We are seeking an expert Platform Engineer to join our Internal Developer Platform (IDP) team at the forefront of creating innovative solutions. You will play a critical role in building and refining our IDP capabilities, leveraging your extensive experience in back-end development, cloud engineering, and stakeholder collaboration to drive success across our organisation. What you’ll do: • Design, develop, and maintain our internal developer platform, harnessing cloud services (predominantly Azure and AWS) to provide scalable and resilient solutions. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define clear requirements and execute a refined product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals. • Use your mastery of Python and experience with React to create robust back end and UI solutions, prioritising performance and user experience. • Leverage tools such as Terraform, ArgoCD, etc. for cloud infrastructure and continuous delivery improvement. • Drive continuous improvement in system reliability, observability, and automation within a distributed technology environment. • Engage with stakeholders to analyse needs and deliver solutions that meet and exceed service-level expectations.
