Job Title: Senior Mainframe Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Developer with a strong foundation in mainframe technologies and proven experience leading migration projects. In this role, you will guide a team through complex technical challenges and ensure successful project outcomes while upholding the highest standards of code quality, performance, and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

Lead and actively contribute to the execution of mainframe migration projects.

Provide technical leadership and support across the development team.

Serve as the subject matter expert in mainframe systems and migration processes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize legacy systems and migrated components.

Enforce adherence to development standards, best practices, and coding guidelines.

Mentor junior and mid-level developers to build technical competence and team cohesion.

Requirements:

Extensive hands-on experience with mainframe technologies including COBOL, DB2, JCL, and VSAM.

Demonstrated success leading and delivering migration projects.

Proven ability to mentor and lead technical teams effectively.

Excellent problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in Agile or hybrid Agile environments.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe.

Background in enterprise-level legacy system modernization initiatives.
