Lead I - Software Engineering
Roles and Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot.

Develop robust RESTful and SOAP APIs for integration with internal and external systems.

Architect scalable microservices and ensure secure and high-performing solutions.

Leverage Java Camel integration frameworks for enterprise integration patterns.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, BAs, QA, and DevOps engineers to ensure high-quality deliveries.

Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and follow best practices for DevOps and automation.

Utilize SQL/NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB for data persistence and optimization.

Ensure compliance with security best practices and participate in code reviews and performance tuning.

Work closely in Agile/Scrum environments and participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical discussions and architectural decisions.

Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.

Must-Have Skills

Strong proficiency in Core Java, Spring Boot, and Java Camel.

Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services/API development.

Proven experience in microservices architecture.

Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

Hands-on experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Sound knowledge of performance optimization and application security.

Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.

Prior experience working in Agile methodologies.

Mandatory experience with frontend technologies (Angular).

Solid understanding of design patterns and best practices.

Good-to-Have Skills

Prior experience or domain knowledge in Healthcare (member/provider services).

Experience in test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks.

Exposure to monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

Experience working in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
