Overview:
As a Lead – Product Design, you will be responsible for designing and developing human-centered digital products that emphasize ease of use, best-in-class interaction and visual design, and a delightful customer experience. You will collaborate closely with business, product, and technology teams to understand product vision and translate it into tangible design propositions.
Develop user personas from research findings and integrate them into deliverables like customer journeys, empathy maps, opportunity maps, and service blueprints.
Design experiences for various digital interfaces including websites, mobile apps, kiosks, games, and wearables.
Create screen layouts aligned with brand guidelines, reinforcing the brand’s style and tone across visual touchpoints.
Design interaction models, wireframes, low/high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and production-ready interfaces, including MVPs.
Conduct design reviews to ensure alignment with usability standards and user expectations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams—product managers, engineers, business stakeholders, and designers—to ensure unified design outcomes.
Align design directions with stakeholder goals, budgets, and expectations.
Stay abreast of industry trends and design innovations, and advocate for continuous design improvements.
Define and track OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) for self and contribute to team goal setting.
Requirements:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a design-related discipline such as Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Product Design, Visual Communication, New Media Design, or Universal Design.
8+ years of experience in digital product design with a strong usability and user experience background.
Proven experience delivering UX engagements in collaboration with both business and technology teams.
Expertise in color theory, typography, layout, visual transitions, micro animations, motion design, and dynamic interaction elements.
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools including Figma, Adobe XD, Axure, InVision, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
Experience in designing for digital products/platforms and handling multiple complex design challenges simultaneously.
Strong understanding of web design principles, responsive design, and front-end development constraints.
Experience in building and maintaining Design Language Systems (DLS).
Excellent visual communication, presentation, and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
A strong, well-curated design portfolio is mandatory.
