Job Summary:
A Salesforce Business Analyst / Consultant acts as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, aligning business objectives with Salesforce capabilities. The role involves gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, designing scalable solutions, supporting testing and adoption, and continuously optimizing the Salesforce platform to deliver business value.
Must-Have Skills:
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within Salesforce environments Strong understanding of Salesforce Clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, etc.) Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements Hands-on experience with process mapping, user stories, functional specifications, and UAT coordination Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills Ability to collaborate with Salesforce admins, developers, and architects Knowledge of Agile/Scrum or other iterative methodologies Familiarity with testing processes, including test case creation and UAT execution Analytical mindset with the ability to identify improvements and scalable solutionsGood-to-Have Skills:
Experience with change management and user training Familiarity with Salesforce release management and updates Exposure to tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar project tracking systems Basic understanding of Salesforce security models and data architecture Hands-on experience with reporting, dashboards, or Salesforce automation tools (e.g., Flows, Process Builder)Responsibilities:
Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder meetings and workshops Analyze current-state processes and identify opportunities for Salesforce-driven improvements Translate business needs into functional specs, user stories, and workflows Partner with Salesforce technical teams to design scalable, effective solutions Facilitate documentation reviews and secure sign-offs from stakeholders Prepare and execute test cases; coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Provide user training and create enablement materials to boost Salesforce adoption Continuously evaluate and optimize Salesforce solutions in line with business strategy Act as the primary liaison between business and technical teams Stay updated with new Salesforce features and share best practicesRequired Certifications:
