Job Title: SAP Senior Anaplan Consultant

Hiring Location: Bengaluru

Role Proficiency:

Analyze and develop applications in assigned areas under supervision, focusing on ERP/CRM systems.

Optimize efficiency, cost, and quality through automation and agile delivery.

Collaborate with business analysts and finance stakeholders to gather and interpret financial planning requirements.

Translate requirements into functional/technical user stories and implement solutions using Anaplan.

Develop complex models in Anaplan, including inbound/outbound data feeds, dashboards, and analytical solutions.

Mentor junior developers and manage module delivery independently.

Experience Range: 5-7 years

Must-Have Skills:

Strong expertise in Finance Planning – Consolidation, Reports, New UI, and Application Lifecycle Management.

Demonstrable experience in Anaplan Model Building – Level 3 Certification.

Proficiency in complex data analysis related to financial planning.

Deep understanding of multi-dimensional data modeling and implementation.

Experience with BI reporting platforms like PowerBI and Tableau.

Experience in integrating Anaplan with external systems.

Good-to-Have Skills:

Exposure to SAP ERP systems.

Knowledge of data modeling techniques.

Experience working with US, Japan, and Europe teams.

Proficiency in data validation, migration, and deployment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Define and analyze financial planning requirements, translating them into model designs within Anaplan.

Develop and maintain Anaplan models, modules, and UX pages.

Conduct unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing.

Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and user guides.

Collaborate with internal teams to identify process improvement opportunities.

Provide training and support to end users on Anaplan functionalities.

Develop Proof of Concept (PoC) models and expand successful models into detailed solution designs.

Participate in establishing an Anaplan Centre of Excellence (CoE).

Knowledge Examples:

Functional and technical design in ERP/CRM systems.

Best practices in Anaplan model building and data integration.

Agile/Scrum project management methodologies.

Data loader tools and production deployment processes.

Certifications:

Anaplan Model Builder Level 3 Certification

Relevant Finance or Data Analytics certifications preferred.
