We are seeking an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer with strong expertise in database development and Unix scripting. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in writing complex PL/SQL code, stored procedures, triggers, and working with large datasets. Familiarity with ETL tools and domain knowledge in Capital Markets or the Banking industry is a plus.
Must-Have Skills:Oracle PL/SQL:
8+ years of hands-on experience
Expertise in developing stored procedures, triggers, packages, and performance tuning
Strong SQL query optimization skills
Unix/Linux Scripting:
Proficient in writing shell scripts for automation and integration
ETL Tools:
Working knowledge of any ETL tool (e.g., Informatica, DataStage, Talend, etc.)
Strong Communication Skills:
Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Good-to-Have Skills:Exposure to or experience in Capital Markets or Banking domain
Understanding of data integration, data warehousing, or reporting systems
Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL procedures, functions, and packages
Write and maintain Unix shell scripts for data processing and system automation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including ETL developers, business analysts, and QA
Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices for database development
Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in SQL and PL/SQL
Educational Qualification:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
