Lead I - Creative Design (video Editor)

Role Proficiency:

Create engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of media - the entire process of defining requirements visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations logos layouts and images. Shape the visual aspects of sales enablement assets GTM collateral websites product/platform/services packaging exhibitions etc. Lead a team of designers.

Outcomes:

Study design briefs and determine requirements Schedule projects and define constraints and timelines Conceptualize visuals based on requirements Prepare rough drafts and present ideas Develop illustrations logos and other designs Use the appropriate colours and layouts for each graphic Work with content creators and creative director to produce final design Amend designs after feedback Organize multi-task and manage time   Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand

Measures of Outcomes:

Communication:  Should clearly discuss messages and ideas with the art director requestor or other designers to make sure they are creating an effective design. Computer skills:  Proficient in ppt photo editing layout and publishing software. Time-management: Must prioritize projects and use their time efficiently to meet these deadlines. Analytical skills: Should be able to take a complex idea or data set and determine the best visual representation. Alignment: Ensuring that the text images and icons are aligned perfectly in the layout Consistent: Ensuring uniformity and avoiding any conflict between fonts shapes colours backgrounds and overall theme Adherence: Following the brand guidelines Revamp: Adapting and improving graphic elements like typography and backgrounds to match latest trends   Iconography: Leveraging provided icons to compliment the content and design

The Opportunity: We are looking for a video producer and editor to support the management and execution of UST’s brand marketing videos to drive brand discovery and customer engagement via the brand’s primary digital channels. This is a full-time role based in India. This role reports to a UST Brand Lead and collaborates daily with both UST’s video strategy lead and social media team. Some projects may require working an overlap with U.S. hours. If you are interested in applying for the role, you must provide a portfolio of relevant video work with your application. Industry-Specific Skills: ● Video production and editing experience: Minimum of 7 years experience with creating high-quality video content. ● Understanding of B2B communication and social-first video design: Recognizing that B2B videos often focus on conveying information, building trust, demonstrating value, and establishing expertise. ● Art direction experience creating in-person or remote B2B video, with the ability to guide on-camera speakers and project team members to create high-performing videos. ● Ability to simplify complex information: Skill in visually breaking down technical concepts and product offerings in an easy-to-understand manner. ● Experience with different B2B video types: Familiarity with social-first video, editing LinkedIn Lives, webinar videos, explainers, testimonials, and thought leadership content ● Incorporating calls to action: Skill in visually integrating clear calls to action within the video. ● Awareness of marketing goals: Understanding how video content fits into the broader marketing strategy and contributes to lead generation and brand building. Technical Skills: ● Proficiency in video editing software: Mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro is crucial. ● Understanding of video formats and codecs: Knowledge of various video formats, resolutions, frame rates, and codecs (e.g., MP4, MOV, H.264) is important for efficient workflow and proper delivery. ● Audio editing skills: Ability to clean, mix, and master audio to ensure clear and professional sound quality. ● Graphic design: Expertise in graphic design fundamentals such as typography, visual hierarchy, compositional layout, color, and imagery. ● Color correction and grading: Basic understanding of color theory and the ability to adjust and enhance the visual appearance of footage for consistency and desired aesthetics. ● File management and organization: Maintaining a well-organized project structure is essential for efficiency and collaboration. ● Knowledge of export settings: Understanding the optimal export settings for various platforms (web, social media, presentations). ● Brand compliance: Ability to work within our corporate brand guidance Soft Skills: ● Communication: Clear and effective communication with project leads and team members to understand requirements and provide updates. ● Collaboration: Ability to work effectively as part of a team. ● Time management and organization: Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. ● Initiative: Proactively seeking solutions and suggesting creative ideas. ● Professionalism: Maintaining a professional demeanor and work ethic.
