UST Designation: Lead I - Cloud Infrastructure Services

Requirement name: Senior Applications Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Resolve enterprise trouble tickets within agreed SLA and raise problem tickets for permanent resolution.

Mentor new team members in understanding customer infrastructure and processes.

Perform analysis for driving incident reduction, providing inputs for root cause analysis.

Escalate high-priority incidents to stakeholders for quicker resolution.

Contribute to planning and successful migration of platforms.

Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain and update SOPs.

Provide mentorship (Hierarchical or Lateral) to junior associates.

Lead customer and vendor calls, managing stakeholder interactions.

Assist the security team in detecting and resolving code security defects.

Develop and implement security tooling in the CI/CD pipeline.

Drive secure coding best practices, conduct threat modeling, and support security feature reviews.

Technical Skills & Qualifications:

6-9 years of experience in Application Security, DevSecOps, or related roles.

Strong background in software engineering, ideally with C#.

Proficiency in CI/CD, DevSecOps, and security frameworks (CIS, NIST, OWASP).

Experience with static and dynamic analysis and common security tools.

Expertise in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash).

Solid understanding of ITIL processes and service management.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and server management.

Proficient in monitoring tools (CA UIM, SCOM, SolarWinds, Nagios, ServiceNow).

Strong knowledge of networking, storage, and backup technologies.

Experience with database management, migration, and optimization.

Education Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

ITIL Foundation Certification preferred.
