· Linux System Administrator Key Roles & Responsibilities:
· As a Linux Server Administrator, you'll ensure the smooth and secure operation for Linux-based servers, including managing system configurations, performing maintenance, monitoring performance, and implementing security measures.
· Key Responsibilities:
· System Administration: Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers, ensuring optimal performance, stability, and security.
· Expertise in Red Hat/Rocky/Ubuntu is preferred. Solid understanding on Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), Windows Deployment Services (WDS), Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager(MECM), Storage spaces Direct/HCI and Proof and Experimental Establishment (PXE)
· Security Management: Implement and enforce security policies, monitor system logs for suspicious activity, and address potential vulnerabilities.
· Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Regularly monitor server performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize resource utilization.
· Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, responding to user concerns and escalating problems as needed.
· User Management: Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control, adhering to security best practices. Knowledge on Linux Auth with LDAP/AD
· Scripting and Automation: Develop and utilize scripts and automation tools to streamline administrative tasks.
· Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of server configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
· Technical Support: Provide technical support to users and developers on Linux-related issues.
· Network configuration: Configure and maintain network interfaces, assign IP addresses, and manage DNS settings.

· 5+ years of Experience in relevant field.
· Experience in Linux System • Engineering in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/EE or equivalent experience
