We are looking for an experienced Guidewire Integration Business Analyst to support our insurance domain projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Guidewire product integrations (especially PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter), and a deep understanding of insurance business processes, along with strong functional and technical analysis skills.
Key Responsibilities:Act as the primary liaison between business users and technical teams for Guidewire integration-related initiatives.
Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for Guidewire integration with external/internal systems.
Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to identify integration points, business workflows, and technical specifications.
Support design and architecture discussions to ensure integration solutions align with business goals.
Work with development teams to validate functional design and test plans for Guidewire integrations (SOAP/REST, messaging, plugins).
Create and manage use cases, process flows, sequence diagrams, and data mapping documents.
Conduct and support UAT testing, including test case creation and defect tracking for integration modules.
Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations during data exchange between systems.
Provide functional expertise during Guidewire upgrades or new module implementations.
Required Skills:5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in P&C Insurance domain.
At least 2–3 years working on Guidewire Integration projects (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter).
Strong understanding of Guidewire integration mechanisms: SOAP, REST APIs, messaging architecture, batch processing, and plugins.
Ability to perform data mapping between Guidewire and external systems (vendors, portals, legacy systems).
Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Postman for API testing.
Solid knowledge of SDLC, especially Agile methodologies.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
Nice to Have:Guidewire certifications (Integration or Business Analyst Track).
Experience working with middleware platforms or ESB (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, etc.).
Basic understanding of Gosu language and XML/JSON structures.
Educational Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
MBA or domain certifications in Insurance are a plus.
