Lead Human Resources Partner

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Foster meaningful partnerships across the organization, cultivating a supportive environment.

2. Promote and sell SEL’s culture and values to attract candidates.

3. Identify and implement new methods for sourcing technical candidates and generating leads.

4. Plan and coordinate Hiring efforts.

5. Act as recruiting subject matter expert.

6. Mentor and teach recruiters. Partner with division leadership to assess workforce needs and develop sourcing strategies.

7. Demonstrated ownership of processes and procedures related to HR area(s); a thought leader.

8. Monitor performance of programs in assigned discipline(s) and uses data to provide insights about new and existing problems.

9. Support Human Resources training efforts; supervise and mentor other staff as needed.

10. Continuously identify, measure, and improve processes.

11. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

B.A. or B.S. degree in Human Resources or related fieldTypically six years experience within Human Resources or a related fieldStrong knowledge of laws and legal practices and procedures as it pertains to HR areaExcellent listening, coaching, customer service and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical ability and problem resolution skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion in handling sensitive information and dataDemonstrated ability to handle/prioritize tasksAbility to work independently within a team environmentProficient knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with an HRIS system and processesStrong writing, documentation, and speaking skillsAbility to learn new skills and assume new responsibilitiesAbility to work cooperatively in a team environmentBackground check results satisfactory to SEL (where applicable)Negative drug test result(s) (where applicable)

Preferred Qualifications

PHR/SPHR and/or SHRM certification
