Lead Full Stack Engineer
We will count on you to:
Design, code, test, and debug new and existing applications using technologies and databases. Serve as technical expert in implementing complex projects. Lead globally dispersed software engineering teams, overseeing the development of enterprise-grade, reusable capabilities. Design robust system and software architectures to facilitate business solutions, contributing to revenue expansion. Serve as a full-stack developer and cloud engineer, utilizing AWS Services, Java, Node.js, Camunda Workflows, Angular, relational and document databases, as well as cloud-native technologies. Provide guidance to system architecture, develop project plans/scope and track progress. Serve as project team leader on complex, large scope project to provide direction to development teams and support junior developers. Advise senior team members on performance of existing system. Envision and develop a library of reusable digital components to help drive down time of market while building and continually enhancing customer experiences across channels. Build product capabilities for enterprise applications, with an API first approach. Be involved in the entire development lifecycle from idea to design, requirements to implementation, testing through development. Responsible for driving major changes in technology development utilizing cloud native architecture patterns in a distributed environment. Drive culture change in technology to become a truly Agile team which is self-organizing, DevOps and automated. Collaborate with labs, platform, and development teams on new and existing product development opportunities. Continuously learn about new technologies and ensure the entire group stays abreast of industry developments and evolving best practices.
What you need to have:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, and eight (8) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Eight (8) years of experience must include: Building large-scale distributed systems based on microservices architecture. Delivering globally scalable digital products, overseeing the development of enterprise-grade, reusable capabilities. Utilizing AWS Services, Java, Node.js, Camunda Workflows, Angular and Python with a focus on object-oriented design. Using Java, Spring Boot, Cache, SQL, and NoSQL databases to develop backend applications. Working in API Management systems including Apigee and AWS API Gateway, using container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes. Using tools including Jira, Git, and Jenkins to design and implement REST API, with a preference for continuous integration and automation. Utilizing AWS cloud technology stack, Open Source, UI, and AI.
