Job Description:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent years of related work experience required

Work Experiences:

3+ years of retail, store, DC, or other relevant operations experience required

Responsibilities:

Manage the daily operation of all Academy.com fulfillment capabilities, including SFDC, SFS, BOPIS, STS, Special Order Firearms, and Drop Ship.Serve as the primary point of contact and technical support expert for Zebra Printers, Automatic Tape Machines, and Air Speed Devices across Store and DC Operations.Monitor, review and analyze daily integrations across multiple fulfillment systems (e.g., Sterling, Radial, Narvar, and WCS) to identify and triage anomalies. Fulfillment Network Configuration (Ship to Home) – Review daily/weekly ship-to-home volume across the DC and Store network and adjust systemic “Distribution Group Priorities” where applicable to ensure a balanced workload across the network.Review, analyze, and action incoming ServiceNow Omnichannel Operations support tickets of varying SLA’s to swift resolution.Manage key fulfillment KPIs (e.g., shipping lead times, throughput, cancellation rates) and hold fulfillment teams accountable for performance to these KPIsManage Drop Ship performance and hold Vendors accountable for violating established service level agreements.Review and process Drop Ship invoices, reviewing costing to maximize Academy’s profitability.Review bulk (quantity) orders and make strategic sourcing decisions to minimize internal costs and maximize profitability while preserving customer satisfaction - coordinating with internal and external teams as neededSupport new fulfillment capabilities through direct involvement in technology projects: including driving business requirements, supporting testing efforts, fostering change management, and adapting business processes to support new capabilitiesWork directly with Customer Care to proactively address issues impacting customer orders – making recommendations on customer appeasements when appropriateActive participant in cross-functional collaboration sessions with other teams across the organization, primarily: IT, Store Operations, Merchandising, Logistics, and Customer CareUnderstand context-level data flows for key Academy.com systems, and leverage this understanding to triage issues and identify opportunities for improvement Understand the way Omnichannel fits into Academy’s multi-channel strategyDevelop a thorough understanding of the Academy’s policies, procedures, and safety rulesDuties may change; team members may be required to perform other duties as assigned
