Job DescriptionShift: Initially an 8-hour day shift, transitioning to a 12-hour shift.Location: Greenville, NC

How will you make an impact?

Responsibilities of Formulation Technician II include producing sterile injectables, solving moderate scope problems by analyzing various factors.

A Day in the Life:Receive and lead daily assignments, ensuring production schedules are met efficiently.Lead all aspects of and support manufacturing processes, applying aseptic techniques and ensuring compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).Maintain product quality and operational standards while adhering to safety regulations and housekeeping guidelines.Assist in training team members on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), cGMPs, and safety protocols.Operate forklifts and other mobile equipment as needed to lead product and equipment.Perform additional duties as assigned.Perform line changeovers

Education/ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent experience is required, along with 2 years of manufacturing or mechanical experience, preferably in pharmaceuticals.Associate’s or equivalent experience with 1 year manufacturing experienceBachelor’s or equivalent experience preferred even without manufacturing experienceEducation/ExperienceEquivalent combinations of education, training and meaningful work experience may be considered.Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesExcels in a team environment. Basic math skills.Good verbal/written communication.Attention to detail while maintaining a quality product.Ability to perform repetitive work duties.Ability to follow SOPs.Physical & Environmental RequirementsWork in a clean-room which is a controlled environment for temperature and humidity having low ambient noise.Wear gowning which includes: gloves, hair & beard net and face cover, safety glasses with no makeup / jewelry, and the like.Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and understand chemical hygiene.Infrequently lift and manipulate up to 50 pounds max unassisted.Stand and move about including reaching, bending, stooping, grasping.Use hand tools and equipment including forceful gripping, grasping, pushing and pulling.Benefits
