What You’ll Do: Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure meal service runs smoothly Lead, train, and support food service team members Prepare, portion, and serve meals according to menu and nutrition guidelines Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation standards Communicate with school staff and ensure a positive dining experience for students Step in wherever needed — you’re the go-to for keeping things running right! Requirements REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES: Education : + High school graduate or equivalent. + Must complete all Whitsons and government required training as necessary Certifications : + Servsafe certification and/or NYC BOH course completion Other Qualifications, Experience and Competencies : + Ability to speak and read English in order to understand and perform job assignments. + Must be proficient in recipe procedures and cooking techniques. + 1 year professional culinary experience required + Always present a positive and professional image.
