Lead Food Service Attendant - Adult Day Health

This position will be working Monday to Friday on day shift (8am-4:30pm).

This role prepares the kitchen each morning including medically recommended snacks, receives food from vendor, performs quality checks, serves meals including the preparation of special/therapeutic diets, orders food/supplies from vendors, communicates with vendors regarding menu and compliance, participates cleaning of the kitchen, dishes etc.  This role will also work closely with Registered Dietician to ensure all quality and regulatory requirements for compliance.  Communicates with participants regarding their satisfaction of the meal services provided and makes adjustments with leadership approval.

Required qualifications:

National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority upon hire.National ServSafe Manager Certification - National Restaurant Association within 6 months (180 days) of hire.In compliance with company policy and state regulations, a Department of Human Services (DHS) criminal background check may be required for this position based upon the location of the position upon hire.Fingerprinting may be required upon hire.2 years of experience in food service principles and practices.

Preferred qualifications:

2 years of experience coordinating food service work and activities.Bilingual - Spanish
