The GRS Global Expense team is looking for a Lead Financial Analyst with strong financial knowledge and analytic skills. This role will have responsibilities and oversight related to monthly reporting and the annual budgeting & forecasting process for the LatAm and US region within Liberty International Insurance (LII). A key focus will be collaborating with the segment plan teams to help establish strategic financial direction for the business while operating in a deadline focused, fast-paced environment.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Business Partner senior leadership and business stakeholders across LII LatAm and US regionResponsible for the production of complex ad hoc and on-going financial reports that assist the business in making decisions, effectively communicating trends any outcomes to managementHelps to develop accurate financial plans by effective budgeting, monitoring, and problem solvingProduces complex management reports and associated analysis, ensuring accuracy and relevance to the businessInteracts with management to explain the budget or financial planning process, identify factors impacting expenses or financial trends, highlight opportunities for improvement and create effective exhibits to explain business budgets.Continually assesses the business value and efficiency of the work performed, identifying, and implementing improvementsPartners across the segment budgeting and reporting teams to implement consistent delivery of expense information and analysis across GRS.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

Strong Excel skills requiredExperience with Microsoft BI, SAP and AnaPlan

 

 

Qualifications Bachelor`s degree (Finance or Accounting) required.CPA or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.Minimum of 5 years of finance experience.Must demonstrate attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously to drive results.Communicates well with own team and across organizational boundaries to ensure the successful completion of shared goals.Comfortable leading meetings and able to communicate issues and trends to senior management and other groups at the appropriate level of detail.Solid understanding of Finance Tools and Analytical Methods. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role.
