Summary
Responsible for all event-related preparation, setup, teardown and post event cleanups. Receive event information and perform all preparation and setup tasks requested. Also responsible for setup and teardown for court rentals, meeting room rentals, leagues and other activities as requested.Job Description
Responsible for working with local vendors and coordinating scheduling of any rental equipment. Coordinate and oversee all event setup staff. Responsible for all event cleanups after every activity. Ensure the daily cleanliness, as well as the indirect oversight of all event and facilities staff. Assists with the development and monitoring of appropriate indicators for quality and continuous improvement.
Responsible for security at night and for opening each facility in the morning. Planning and awareness ofevent calendar, including scheduling of events and rentals. Timely billing for all usage required. Coordinate and oversee all monitors.
Manage venue schedule, making sure each location is set and clean for the next day/phase of the event. Monitor needs and requests at onsite and offsite events, including restocking of supplies, and/or problems that arise with equipment or venue. This includes HVAC, sound, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, life safety, workplace safety, communications, scoreboard systems, pest control, custodial services, etc. Coordinates all elements of facility operations including budgeting, purchasing, directs the operation and maintenance of the mechanical, electrical, HVAC, custodial, grounds, sound, lighting, a/v equipment, telecommunications systems, security, smoke/fire detectors and traffic control.
Work in coordination with the Lead Event Specialist, Event Specialist, Managers and Director of the Sports Complex and support execution of events and day of activities for the Sanford Pentagon, Fieldhouse and Outdoor Fields at the Sanford Sports Complex.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.Three to five years of event or facilities management experience preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification required or within six months of hire.
