Discover more at https://dsmihealth.com/ **Your key responsibilities** + **Oversee Contract Manufacturers and Tollers:** Ensure the selection, onboarding, and management of Contract Manufacturers/Tollers to meet production capability, capacity, and flexibility needs; lead second sourcing initiatives and product phase-ins/phase-outs. + **Function as Technical Liaison:** Serve as the primary technical interface between Contract Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and Brand teams to ensure project alignment and execution. + **Develop Innovative Packaging Solutions:** Partner with internal teams and external manufacturers to design and implement cost-effective, sustainable, and regionally compliant packaging for new and existing products. + **Ensure Quality and Regulatory Compliance:** Collaborate with Quality Assurance to meet packaging quality standards and regulatory requirements, and support testing related to durability, performance, and shelf life. + **Drive Packaging Standardization:** Lead initiatives to harmonize packaging specifications and designs across product lines and manufacturing sites while accommodating regional needs. + **Promote Process Improvement:** Identify and implement improvements in packaging sourcing processes, driving efficiency, supplier performance, and cost-effectiveness across the supply chain. **We offer** + **Unique career paths across health, nutrition and beauty** - explore what drives you and get the support to make it happen + **A chance to impact millions of consumers every day** – sustainability embedded in all we do + **A science led company, cutting edge research and creativity everywhere** – from biotech breakthroughs to sustainability game-changers, you’ll work on what’s next + **Growth that keeps up with** you – you join an industry leader that will develop your expertise and leadership + **A culture that lifts you up** – with collaborative teams, shared wins, and people who cheer each other on. + **A community where your voice matters** – it is essential to serve our customers well. **You bring** + A Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in packaging sourcing, engineering, or supply chain roles within the dietary supplement or related industry. + In-depth technical knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and regulatory standards, including sustainability and FDA compliance. + Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects, manage multiple priorities, and drive process improvements in a global manufacturing environment. + Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to build effective partnerships across internal teams and external suppliers or tollers. + High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining ethical standards and confidentiality. + Experience with packaging testing, quality control, and familiarity with systems such as SAP and Asana is a plus. + Ability to travel up to 20%. The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary $97,600-125,000. In addition to base salary, we also offer a comprehensive total rewards package, inclusive of annual incentive pay, a retirement savings plan, health care coverage, paid time off, recognition programs and a broad range of other benefits.
