Lead Equipment Service Tech- Weekend Location: New Bremen, OH, US, 45869 **Job Posting External** **Responsibilities:** + Direct the operations of assigned work area. + Function as the go-to person for Technicians and Support Technicians. + Oversee equipment zones and is responsible for the Preventive and General Maintenance of all identified machines in a plant/zone. + Organize and assign work according to the maintenance schedule. + Coordinate and assist in the training of current and new department employees. + Work with the Equipment Service Supervisor and/or Manager for direction on problems, planning, and personnel issues. + Locate and correct electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic machine problems. + Work with outside servicemen, plant managers, supervisors, and operators. + Work with Production Planners to order parts and department materials. + Find, order, or make parts required to fix machines. + Use lift trucks and other equipment to move, hook up and level machines. + Do paperwork to keep records of machine problems and machine upkeep. + Utilize basic computer skills. i.e. word, excel, outlook. + Utilize CMMS system for machine repair documentation as needed. + Maintain parts inventories in each plant. + Perform other related duties as assigned. **Qualifications:** + High School Diploma or equivalent is required + Read and understand electric, hydraulic, and machine prints and diagrams. + Accurately diagnose machine problems and find best repair alternatives. + Basic math (including fractions and decimals), remember, reason, analyze and troubleshoot
