Job Description: 

Lead Enterprise Applications Engineer positions offered by Cox Automotive Corporate Services, LLC (Atlanta, Georgia). Evangelize and provide technical expertise related to specific applications, helping to define business requirements, and designing and developing customizations, conversions and interfaces. Play a leadership role in application analysis, design, configuration and support. Monitor emerging technologies and provide advice and guidance on those technologies. Responsible for maintaining, upgrading and administering Oracle EBS instances on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure using automation tools like Ansible and Jenkins. Participate in the definition of end user requirements, functionality specifications, and deliverables for specific platforms and provide estimates for work effort required. Design new and modify existing customizations, conversions and interfaces as necessary. Design dashboards, correlation rules, alerts and reports. Maintain all technical deliverables including technical design specifications and documentation of all configuration changes. Work with software test engineers to provide testing frameworks. Identify single point of failure and operational gaps and weaknesses and develop plans for remediation and improvements.

Minimum Requirements: 

Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related field and 6 years of experience in the position offered or 6 years of experience managing Oracle EBS and Oracle Core databases. Also requires 6 years of experience: managing Oracle EBS on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure; utilizing PL-SQL, Oracle Tuning, Oracle Backup, and Recover; designing, developing, and implementing software systems; and working with 3rd party software initiations and integration. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree in the aforementioned fields and 6 years of experience as stated, employer will accept a master’s or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 4 years of experience as stated, or a Ph.D. or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 1 year of experience as stated. Requires 1 year of experience: creating automations using Ansible for Oracle EBS databases; using Python; and working in an agile environment. Position reports to Atlanta, GA office. Telecommuting permitted in accordance with company policy, but must live within commuting distance of stated office. 

Compensation includes a base salary of $169,744 to $181,400. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program. 

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company’s needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members.
