We’re looking for a proactive and skilled Lead Engineer to head the Production Engineering team for Visual Inspection and Packaging.
 

In this role, you will drive operational excellence, manage key stakeholders, support maintenance activities, and lead improvement projects in a highly regulated GMP environment. This is your chance to shape technical operations that directly support life-changing therapies.
 

Your Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop the Production Engineering team (Visual Inspection & Packaging)Manage stakeholders and represent M2U in GMP/non-GMP inspectionsPlan, coordinate, and supervise maintenance shutdownsSupport daily operations with technical troubleshooting and process optimizationRepresent engineering in deviation and CAPA processes (e.g., SQUIPP)Execute small-scale (SIAG) investment projects and support cross-functional initiativesAct as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and fulfill Operational Readiness (OR) tasksEnsure compliance with safety guidelines and foster a strong safety cultureParticipate in on-call duty as “Pikett Engineer”
 

Your Qualifications

University degree in mechanical, process, or automation engineering (or equivalent)Several years of experience in GMP-regulated production or plant engineeringProven leadership experience in a technical settingStrong coordination and stakeholder management skillsHigh level of ownership, initiative, and problem-solving abilityFluent in German and English
