Position Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Lead Structural Engineer to lead and manage structural engineering projects from concept through to completion. The ideal candidate will possess the expertise to quickly identify high-level challenges and implement effective solutions, with a strong understanding of the associated cost and schedule implications. Key Responsibilities Lead the structural design and analysis of buildings, infrastructure, and industrial facilities. Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, civil, and MEP engineers. Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and specifications. Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance during construction. Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development. Participate in project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation. Lead internal and external design reviews and client meetings. Qualifications Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering. Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) certification preferred. Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience in structural engineering. Proficient in structural analysis and design software. Strong understanding of materials, construction methods, and safety standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills. Desirable Skills Experience with seismic and wind load analysis. Knowledge of steel, concrete, timber, and composite structures. Familiarity with BIM tools (e.g., Revit, Tekla Structures). Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
