We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Site Lead to join our team based in Wakefield. **About the Role:** As the Site Lead, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the site maintenance team, ensuring the smooth operation of Mechanical, Electrical, and Fabric services. You’ll play a key role in maintaining compliance with statutory and mandatory standards, driving performance, and delivering exceptional service to our client. **Key Responsibilities:** + Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of M&E plant and equipment. + Manage the CAFM system to monitor performance and service delivery. + Ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental standards. + Supervise specialist contractors and manage minor works. + Conduct risk assessments, method statements, and work package plans. + Respond to reactive maintenance and ensure timely completion of PPM tasks. + Support innovation and continuous improvement across the contract. **What We’re Looking For:** Skills & Experience: + Strong supervisory experience with the ability to motivate and manage a team. + Proficient in CAFM systems and E-Log Book management. + Experience in compiling risk assessments and quotations. + Excellent communication and client-facing skills. + Knowledge of M&E services, BMS systems, and statutory compliance. Desirable: + City & Guilds or equivalent in an electrical discipline. + IOSH Managing Safely certification. + Experience with fire alarm systems, generators, HVAC, and water treatment. **Success Measures:** + Achievement of contract KPIs and SLAs. + High team performance and service standards. + Statutory compliance and effective management of subcontractors. + Timely and efficient completion of maintenance tasks. **Reporting & Authority:** + Reports to: Contract Manager + Financial Authority: Up to £1,000 + (On-site role with occasional out-of-hours call-outs as per rota) Ready to lead with confidence and make a difference?
