Role Definition:

Provides the technical expertise necessary to design, develop, and implement manufacturing engineering and complex manufacturing operations. This position functions as a specialist in the following major areas: planning, manufacturing processes, costs and quality.

Nature of Job:

Identify and implement enhancements and modifications to complex manufacturing processes.
Engineering support on planning, development, operation, and processes.
 

Work Experience
Qualification and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering
7+ years of relevant experience in Manufacturing Processes
Manufacturing Processes: Knowledge of existing product manufacturing methods, technologies and processes; ability to execute, plan, manage and monitor the entire manufacturing process.

Develops best practices documentation for all major activities and tasks.
Trains others on all major tasks and considerations for the full manufacturing process.
Participates in measuring and monitoring new processes and technologies.
Selects and optimizes specific methodologies for specific products.
Top Candidates Have:

Fabrication/Assembly Line Experience
Creation of Process Documents such as PFMEA, SFMEA, Standard Works (SOPs), Control Plan.
Manufacturing Process Planning using Teamcenter Vismockup, Siemens Global Teamcenter (GTcMfg), Siemens Virtual Process Planning for Assembly (VPPA) 
Virtual Validation using Teamcenter Vismockup Jack option and Creo Manikin Option
Understanding of Welding Process
Weld Creation in Creo
