We are looking for a **Lead Engineer** to join our **Design Data Hub Technology team!**

**Core Responsibilities**
+ Lead and design innovative technical solutions in collaboration with the engineering team, product managers, design leads, and business partners.
+ Develop, operate, and maintain scalable solutions that balance feature set, security, quality, and urgency.
+ Enhance the codebase and system health continuously, ensuring visibility and transparency from development to live environments.
+ Uphold exceptional quality standards that reflect the values consumers expect from the LEGO brand.
+ Explore and integrate new technologies to advance and optimize our solutions.
+ Contribute to cross-organizational initiatives, fostering knowledge sharing and community building.
**Play your part in our team succeeding**
We are undergoing a major digital transformation of our PLM system, shifting from a monolithic to a distributed architecture. As a Lead Engineer, you will spearhead the development of applications that support the product design phase within this new ecosystem.
This role involves integrating data from our design portfolio, LEGO® elements, models, and building instructions into user-facing applications. These applications are essential tools for hundreds of LEGO® model designers and creative leads, enhancing their workflows and contributing to the models that delight millions.
Your leadership will have a decisive impact on one of the LEGO Group’s most critical digital transformation journeys, while improving the daily operations of our colleagues who design the LEGO® models cherished worldwide.

**Do you have what it takes?**
+ Extensive software engineering experience with a focus on cloud-native solutions, particularly AWS, software architecture paradigms, and methodologies like TDD and BDD.
+ Proven leadership skills as a technical or team lead, with a strong emphasis on mentoring and team development as well as leading end-to-end feature development through modern agile methodologies.
+ Proficiency in Python for production software development involving multiple collaborators.
+ Solid understanding of web-based solution security and building synchronous/asynchronous APIs.
+ Expertise in Domain Driven Design and developing loosely coupled systems.
+ Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases.
+ Strong communication skills for leading complex technical discussions and decision-making processes.
+ Ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical roles, ensuring alignment of solutions
**Nice to have**
+ Experience with continuous delivery, DevOps, serverless architecture and Domain Driven Design
+ Experience with C#/.NET Framework
+ Experience with Graph databases
+ Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript and the React framework
+ Working with infrastructure as code (CDK, Terraform or the likes)
