Job Requirements

We are currently seeking an experienced Lead Engineer to join our team at Quest Global. As an Lead Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in capturing the functional behaviour of the subsystem equipment (including interfaces) required to achieve the Cockpit Design, demonstrated to the Customer across multiple programs. Your work within the AJT-SE team will directly influence the success of our program.

Responsibilities:

Support the production and maintenance of the Displays & Controls Functional Requirements DocumentSupport the review of System & Subsystem problem reports from various sources, such as System Integration rigs and Flight Testing. Document results & analysis and maintain logs and status information throughout the duration of the task.Support the Systems team and stakeholder formal reviews in order to ensure the correct implementation of requirements from subsequent design phases whilst maintaining compliance with current Cockpit Design requirements. Analyse subsystem failure cases, capturing resultant hazards and the intended mitigation.

Work Experience

Requirements:

A degree in a STEM subject or equivalent relevant experienceStrong Systems Engineering background from either Aerospace or Defence sectorsExperience of Design Tools/Design Methodology such as Statemate, Artisan, Rhapsody, UML & DOORsThe capability to derive system requirements from high level requirementsA knowledge of the Hazard Analysis process, including use of Analysis Tools such as Fault Tree+Experience of working with equipment ICDsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalProven experience of stakeholder managementProven ability to write formal project documentation
