Execute and provide guidance for the analysis / evaluation of assigned projects that meet business standards, practices and procedures and the product / program requirementsDefine and develop product processes related to design, analysis, test, materials, manufacture, quality and/or productivityIdentify need for technical and program reviews within the organization, lead and participate in the technical reviews with limited guidance from senior engineersDemonstrated ability to monitor and communicate project status, business issues and significant developments as appropriateAssure proper documentation of technical data or programs generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and proceduresFormulate and implement plans to achieve technical and program requirements, schedules and contract commitments, develop action plans to anticipate and respond to problemsCreate inspection programs for CMM’s, bullfight or other inspection technologies for manufacturing, quality and engineering organizationsSeek out new inspection technologies to improve throughput and quality of partDevelop and promote standardization throughout the supply chainProvide inspection technical support to the shop and industrialization of inspection processesCoordination and implementation of inspection activitiesMaintain processes and equipment needed to support next generation manufacturing processesRequired Qualifications
Bachelors degree (or a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing or Engineering)Minimum of 3 years experience in Manufacturing or EngineeringDesired Characteristics
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or Computer ScienceGreenbelt or Blackbelt certification or extensive quality experienceExperience in scripting and the use of variables in the creation of programs.
