Lead Engineer, Marine System

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Lead the development of engineering deliverables and schedule for Marine System including HVAC System for candidate tanker refurbishment/ conversion, new build hull and topsides integration to ensure safe, fit-for-purpose, robust and cost-effective floating offshore facilities design and operation.
Lead the development of marine system design and operation philosophy, basis of design, functional specification and SOW for MSQ / RFQ of marine engineering sub-contracting services.
Lead the execution of all engineering deliverables as per project planning and schedule.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in engineering design of marine system for floating offshore facilities OR minimum 10 years of relevant work experience as Marine Engineer onboard Oil Tanker, including:
Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in design and engineering of New Build Hull and conversion of existing oil tanker to floating offshore facilities (e.g. FPSO / FSO, FLNG, etc.).
Experience and competent in the use of relevant analysis software, (e.g. PipeNet, PipeData PRO, Flow Master, etc.).
QUALIFICATION:
Relevant recognized qualifications – Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Marine or other related engineering) discipline OR Class 1 or 2 Marine Engineer Certificate of Competency Foreign Going Unlimited.
Preference: Professional Engineer with Practicing Certificate / Registered with relevant professional body.
