Lead End User Computing (EUC) Engineer
Job Summary:

As a member of the End User Technology Desktop Engineering Team, you will be responsible for the administration, automation, and ongoing delivery of a modern, secure, and efficient Windows desktop environment. This includes automated desktop provisioning, monthly patching, application packaging and deployment through Microsoft Intune, and Tier 3 desktop support. You will also play a key role in medium to large-scale enterprise projects, providing both hands-on technical support and strategic guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain automation solutions for:

Desktop builds (Autopilot/Intune)

Application packaging and deployment (Win32Apps)

Monthly and zero-day patching (Microsoft Autopatch and vendor solutions)

Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) management and optimization

Build and maintain automated processes for deploying Windows 10/11 desktops

Troubleshoot and resolve complex Tier 3 desktop issues

Manage application deployment and patch updates using Microsoft Intune

Work with Autopilot for provisioning and imaging end-user devices

Manage and maintain Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments

Collaborate with vendors (e.g., Microsoft) to resolve escalated issues

Document technical processes and participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Operate within ITSM ticketing systems to track, manage, and resolve incidents

Leverage Group Policy, Microsoft Entra (Azure AD), and MDM solutions for device configuration and compliance

Required Skills:

Windows patch management (Windows 10/11)

Microsoft Intune (application packaging, Win32Apps, device management)

Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) – deployment, automation, support

Autopilot for device provisioning

Troubleshooting Windows-based end-user devices

Scripting and automation (PowerShell preferred)

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience

Minimum 5 years of hands-on IT experience in a desktop engineering or systems administration role

Proven expertise in:

Microsoft Intune

Windows patch management, including Microsoft Autopatch

Win32App packaging and deployment

Autopilot and automated provisioning

Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)

Familiarity with Entra ID, Group Policy, and MDM solutions is a strong plus

Industry certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, etc.) are desirable

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Soft Skills:

Proactive and solution-oriented mindset

Strong documentation and process improvement skills

Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors
