About the Role

Busy Bees at Mermaid Waters is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Educator to join our dedicated team on a full-time basis. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional early learning experiences while guiding and mentoring a team of educators.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading the educational program and daily operations of your room

Supporting and mentoring educators and trainees

Creating responsive and engaging environments for children

Building strong partnerships with families and communities

Ensuring compliance with the EYLF, NQF, and Busy Bees policies

What You’ll Need

Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved)

Working with Children Check (Employee – QLD Blue Card)

Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training

Proven experience in leading a room or mentoring others

Strong knowledge of curriculum planning and critical reflection
