Contract: Fixed-term 12 months
Hourly Rate: $33.00 – $37.54 (Level 4A.1 to 4.3)
About the Role
Busy Bees at Glenroy is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Educator to join our buzzing Hive! With capacity for up to 75 children, our service offers a warm, inclusive, and engaging environment where children and educators thrive.
In this role, you will:
Lead the room’s daily operations and ensure a consistent, nurturing environment
Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate programs aligned with the EYLF
Build meaningful relationships with children and families
Mentor and support educators within your room
Monitor compliance, safety, and wellbeing in collaboration with the leadership team
Participate in regular reflections and documentation of children’s learning
What You’ll Need
Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and developmental milestones
Experience in leading a room or mentoring educators
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Current Working with Children Check (Employee – VIC)
First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certificates
