Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking an especially diligent Lead Document Control Administrator to join our extraordinary team. In this role, you will coordinate the document control process, ensuring compliance with regulatory/standards requirements and maintaining the integrity and security of all controlled documents. This position requires someone with a deep understanding of document control systems and procedures.
A Day in the Life:Own the document control process, including creation, review, approval, distribution, and archiving of controlled documents.Ensure all documents align with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.Conduct regular audits of the process to ensure accuracy and completeness.Implement and maintain document control procedures and policies to ensure consistency and compliance.Develop and deliver training programs for users on the processes and systems.Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure document control processes support overall business objectives.Communicate effectively with internal and external collaborators to address document control issues and share updates on document status.Maintain and improve the electronic document management system (EDMS), ensuring it meets the needs of the organization.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the process.Stay updated on relevant industry standard methodologies and new technologies.Keys to Success:Education and Experience
High school diploma required.4+ years of experience in document control required preferably in a regulated industry (equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered).Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards, including FDA, ISO, and GMP.Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to work within a matrixed organization.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Certification in Document Control or Quality Management Systems.Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.Working Conditions:Office environment with occasional need to work in manufacturing or laboratory settings.May require occasional travel to other Thermo Fisher Scientific sites.This position does not offer relocation benefits.

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $25.60–$38.40.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
