Lead Dispatcher
Summary As the Lead Dispatcher, you'll be at the forefront of emergency response and critical communication. Strap in and get ready for an adrenaline-filled role that will make you the vital link between emergency responders and mission success. The Lead Dispatcher oversees all dispatchers on shift. *This position is contingent upon contract award* Responsibilities Lead and supervise a dedicated team of dispatchers, ensuring seamless operations and effective incident management. Train new hires on proper procedures. Review performance evaluations. Provide feedback and recommendations on site policies. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum High School Diploma or GED.  Must be at least 21 years of age. Meet and maintain the requirements of NFPA 1061, Professional Qualifications for Public Safety Tele-communicator and Emergency Medical Dispatch and NFPA 1221, Standard for the Installation, Maintenance, and Use of Emergency Services Communications Systems. First Aid/CPR certification. A valid state driver's license. Certified to perform the duties and meet the minimum standards established by the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) Institute Emergency Telecommunication. Demonstrated supervisory experience leading a team. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment. Ability to interact and communicate with people over the telephone, often in stressful situations. Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.  Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license. Must speak, read, write, and understand the English language, apply written rules, detailed orders, instructions, and training material. Estimated Salary/Wage USD $25.00/Hr.
