The Lead Dispatcher oversees all dispatchers on shift. **_*This position is contingent upon contract award*_** **Responsibilities** + Lead and supervise a dedicated team of dispatchers, ensuring seamless operations and effective incident management. + Train new hires on proper procedures. + Review performance evaluations. + Provide feedback and recommendations on site policies. + Other duties as assigned **Qualifications** + Minimum High School Diploma or GED. + Must be at least 21 years of age. + Meet and maintain the requirements of NFPA 1061, Professional Qualifications for Public Safety Tele-communicator and Emergency Medical Dispatch and NFPA 1221, Standard for the Installation, Maintenance, and Use of Emergency Services Communications Systems. + First Aid/CPR certification. + A valid state driver's license. + Certified to perform the duties and meet the minimum standards established by the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) Institute Emergency Telecommunication. + Demonstrated supervisory experience leading a team. _Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:_ + Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment. + Ability to interact and communicate with people over the telephone, often in stressful situations. + Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook. + Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license. + Must speak, read, write, and understand the English language, apply written rules, detailed orders, instructions, and training material. **Estimated Salary/Wage** USD $25.00/Hr.
