Summary:
The Lead Dispatcher is responsible for oversight of the Dispatch area in coordinating corporate aircraft travel from start to finish ensuring a high level of service for the corporate clients of the Huntington Bancshares Inc. Flight Department. The Lead Dispatcher also assists with the safe and efficient operations of the flight department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee all new trips that have been approved by the Chairman to ensure that we have sufficient aircraft and crews to cover them.Arrange crew hotels, passenger transportation, catering for appropriate aircraft; arrange all slot reservations needed for the high-density airports as well as any special requirements that are needed.Coordinate international trips with our International Handlers. This would include coordinating with them any special arrangements (e.g., visas, parking, arrival & departure slots).Coordinate the aircrew flight, vacation, and day off schedules.Coordinate with the maintenance department maintenance.Assist with catering orders; for any scheduled / unscheduled flights.Coordinate special events, meetings, and training sessions for the flight department.On a weekly basis submit invoices to be signed and submit to appropriate parties (e.g., International to Treasury, all others to AP).On a monthly basis process end of month reports, copy all trips, send copies to Finance at the main office.Supervision of dispatcher(s) including hiring, training, appraising, and mentoring.Performs other duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent6 years of work experience in Office Management or Office Administration with experience in Business Travel Coordination and Expense ManagementPreferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degreeExperience in a customer service or administrative capacity.Proficient with Microsoft Office Products.#LI-SG1
