Job Description Summary

**We have a preference for candidates residing in Miami-Dade or Broward counties in Florida for this opportunity**

The Lead Director of Sales will lead the Florida Middle Market sales team, driving growth across all lines of business. This leader will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, coaching and developing sales executives, and ensuring the team meets or exceeds revenue and membership goals. The role requires a blend of strategic vision, operational discipline and hands-on leadership.


Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding client experiences.Design and implement proactive sales strategies to drive new business and retain key accounts.Analyze sales metrics and market trends to identify opportunities, address gaps, and inform decision-making.Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, clients, and internal partners.Oversee pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting for the Florida market.Champion the adoption of best practices, tools, and processes to maximize team effectiveness.Represent the Florida sales team in cross-functional initiatives and leadership forums.

Skills and qualifications

7+ years of sales experience with demonstrated leadership in large group fully insured and self-funded sales strategy development and execution, accountability and innovative sales approaches.Demonstrated success in leading sales teams to exceed goals in a competitive market.Strong analytical skills, with experience interpreting financials, underwriting, and sales data.Proven ability to coach, develop, and inspire high-performing teams.Excellent communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills.Deep knowledge of the Florida market and broker landscape preferred.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Preference for candidates residing in Miami-Dade or Broward counties.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$105,000.00 - $231,132.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
