Our client, a leading technology firm, is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to join their team. As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will be part of the Chief Technology Office (CTO) supporting the Enterprise Pipeline (EPL) Platform Services team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent collaboration abilities, and a passion for innovation which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Lead DevOps Engineer
**Location:** Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)
**What's the Job?**
+ Collaborate with EPL Product Owners, Engineering, and applications teams to identify and implement solutions that advance our strategy.
+ Work on building a fully automated end-to-end pipeline that includes a community-driven inner source model.
+ Establish self-service onboarding capabilities and integrate software development lifecycle controls.
+ Assess product gaps and ensure the identification and delivery of product offerings that achieve desired business value.
+ Lead engineering efforts across the EPL team to enhance observability, automation, reliability, and scalability.
**What's Needed?**
+ 7+ years of Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
+ Experience in full stack technologies including Infrastructure Virtual Machines, Storage, and Application Languages such as Java and Python.
+ Proficiency with observability tools like AppDynamics, Elastic, SPLUNK, and Grafana.
+ Experience with DevOps tools such as GITHUB, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
+ 3+ years of experience with Cloud technologies and Kubernetes/Containers.
