The Position

As a Lead DevOps Architect at Novo Nordisk, you will:

Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient DevOps architectures tailored to business needs.
Automate deployment pipelines and infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security by implementing monitoring tools and addressing vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT strategies with organizational goals.
Monitor and optimize system performance, continuously refining processes to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
Act as a technical advisor to stakeholders, providing guidance on DevOps best practices and emerging technologies.

 

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you have: 

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, or a related field. Master’s Degree is good to have.  Bring your 10+ years of expertise to the table—especially if 6–8 of those were spent shaping impactful architectural solutions. Deep understanding and hands-on experience in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines. Proficiency with Jenkins and Kubernetes is essential. Experience with Azure or other cloud-native platforms is a strong plus. Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and methodologies and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Proven leader with a sharp eye for results—guiding teams to success in fast-paced, high-impact environments. A proactive approach to embedding security best practices into DevOps processes.

About the department

You will be part of the Commercial DD&IT GBS team within Novo Nordisk’s global Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT) unit, based in Bangalore, India. Our team consists of approximately 145 highly skilled professionals who work closely with Commercial stakeholders in a dynamic and matrixed organisation with a global footprint. We foster a collaborative and innovative atmosphere, where your expertise will have a significant impact on our digital journey.
