As a Lead Design Engineer, you will lead the creation of systems and solutions that fulfil business and customers needs. You’ll learn and evolve in an innovative environment, have the autonomy to make key decisions, solve problems and provide technical guidance to our regional team.

As a Lead Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Establishing technical requirements basing on customer functional specifications and project needs in compliance with international codes and standardsLeading and contributing on design development activities such as CAD modelling and documents creation ensuring alignment with requirements and scheduleWorking cross functionally with other teams and departments to align interfaces, design, activities, and deliverables.Presenting design outcomes in design reviews when and as relevant.Managing engineering suppliers on the technical standpoint, providing guidance and granting compliance to applicable technical and contractual requirements.Providing engineering support to program management and any other stakeholder.Supporting the sourcing team through procurement, manufacturing and test of designed productsProviding consultancy advice to the project bid team.

To be successful in this role you will:

Have Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, Master’s degree preferred.Have minimum 5 years of experience in subsea engineering in O&G (preference), Energy, Industrial or renewables environment.Demonstrate experience of collaborating with cross-functional teams in a global-matrix environment to deliver complex technical projects and solutionsHave good communication and presentation skills to articulate technical information in a clear and concise manner in EnglishKnowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing ANSI Y14.5M (GD&T), experience performing Finite Element Analysis.Proficient using MS Office applications, MathCad, AutoCAD, CreO/ProE and TeamCenter.Knowledgeable of applicable codes and standards (such as related API, ASME, etc.)Understands general material types, coating types, welding, manufacturing techniques, corrosion protection, and NDE.
