**Job Description:**
The Quality Lead - QVAS is responsible for executing sample inspections, rework projects and other Quality Value Added Services. The Quality Lead will demonstrate the ability to work with minimum supervision to complete their objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Develop WI for reworks and quotes
· Inspect incoming material and parts per quality specification after being received
· Create and complete NCR’s, SCAR’s and CAR’s and enter information into computer
· Perform product and workplace audits with documented results
· Control scrapped or rejected parts until disposition is determined
· Collect and prepare samples for shipment or testing
· Use gauges and other equipment to measure tolerances and dimensions
· Set-up and maintain rework stations
· Document rework output
· Assist in training employees on new jobs as needed
· Practice 5S and Safety
· Able to react to change effectively and handle other tasks as assigned
Physical Demands
· Stand for long periods of time while inspecting tools
· Must be able to lift 40 pounds
· Frequent bending, stooping
· Operation of motorized and manual pallet jack
Education and Experience Requirements:
· High School or GED diploma required
· Excellent organizational skills and time management skills required
· Must possess basic math and basic computer skills
· Must have working knowledge of basic measuring equipment
· High attention to detail
· Ability to perform work per instructions and within reasonable time
