As a Lead Engineer, you’ll bring significant software and data engineering experience and apply best practices as you develop new platform features, data pipelines, and solve a varied range of technical problems. You will also play a critical role with our operational and business stakeholders. You’ll have excellent Python knowledge to write, review, and test code as well as excellent solution architecture, design, and engineering leadership skills.

Previous experience supporting or leading a team of developers A track record of project ownership, successful delivery, and working with stakeholders Excellent hands-on coding ability in Python and able to review Python code A broad knowledge of technical solutions, design patterns, and code for medium/complex applications deployed in a clustered environment Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS Strong experience with SQL, authoring complex queries, and Data Definition Language (DDL) Experience with Linux/Unix Working knowledge of API-based integration for modern systems Experience querying big data, using tools like Redshift, Hive, Spark, Presto, etc. Experience with Data Pipelines Orchestration tools like Airflow or Argo Workflows Experience with Source control in Bitbucket or similar Exposure to security concepts and best practices Experience working in banking or energy trading environment is highly regarded.
